Pamukkale Makina peeling machines offer industrial solutions designed for the effective removal of thin skins from roasted hazelnuts and peanuts. Options include rubber-belt and air-jet peeling machines to suit various production requirements.

  1. The Brush-Type Peeling Machine separates thin skins from the product by gripping the roasted hazelnuts or peanuts—fed into the hopper—between brushes located at the top and bottom of the unit. Once peeling is complete, the product is directed to the discharge outlet, while the resulting dust and skin residues are transferred to a dust collection system.

 

  1. The Air-Jet Peeling Machine separates thin skins by directing high-pressure air between the product and the skin through fine nozzles. The machine operates using compressed air supplied by an external compressor (not included). The use of dry air is recommended for optimal efficiency. Dust and residues generated during the process are routed to a dust collection system.

For both machine types, the product to be processed must be pre-roasted rather than raw; this ensures the peeling process is carried out more efficiently and under controlled conditions.

How It Works?

Roasted hazelnuts or peanuts are fed into the machine’s hopper. In the brush-type model, the product is gripped by the top and bottom brushes, separating it from its thin skins. In the air-jet model, high-pressure air applied through fine nozzles facilitates the separation of the shell from the product. Dust and shell residues generated during the peeling process are transferred to the dust collection system, while the deshelled product is collected at the discharge section and routed to the next stage of production.
